CrossFit Workouts
We often get asked "what is a CrossFit workout"? There is a lot of variation in the daily workouts which you can see by following the free, publicly accessible workout-of-the-day (WOD) at CrossFit.com. We follow the same WOD's that you see there -- no secret methods here -- but we help you scale back appropriately.
Some workouts repeat every month or two and are named. So... here is a quick sample - the CrossFit benchmark workouts:
These are of course scaled back for our participants to something appropriate for their fitness level (overhead press sub for handstand push-ups, or cut qty in 1/2 for example), but the top athletes perform these workouts as prescribed in incredible times. Fran, for example, can be done in under three minutes - nothing short of amazing!
